Who are we?

For more than a century, The Salvation Army brass band in Stavanger, Norway, has preached the message of Jesus Christ in Stavanger. From the first public performance on May 17th 1892 until today.

The band is one of the oldest brass bands in Norway with 127 years of continuing service.

We continue to strive for excellence in both music and the message we bring. The ministry of the band is focused on sharing the gospel of Jesus and witness to the joy of the Christian life through music, word and scripture with our congregation and in our community.

We are always looking for new ways to express the grace and love of God, through concerts and different collaborations with other musical groups and artists in our region.
